Sometimes life leaves little time for blogging, let alone getting to a cafe with kids in tow! We've both had little ventures to keep us busy this winter; a new family home for Al, and a new family addition for me. Add in the miserable weather we have been having and you get a recipe for play dates at home!
Al whipped up a gorgeous morning tea, which was presented to me in the comfort of my own home! Gotta love a nice hot cup of tea and pikelets served with lemon and brown sugar. What a great friend hey?
To ensure that we got to enjoy our tea while it was still hot, she also whipped up some morning tea for the boys. Blueberry pikelets and banana for them...
The pikelets certainly proved to be a hit, they were gobbled up in an astonishingly short amount of time!
We are thinking of starting a section on the blog dedicated to super easy and super yummy play date recipes, both for kiddies and mumma's. What do you think?
Mumma Al is the queen of the kitchen on this little blog, but I do have a few recipes up my sleeve that never (well rarely) fail! How about you? Have you got any you could share with us?
