Churros Cafe Update

We headed back to the Churros Cafe at Island Markets last weekend with one thing in mind........ paella!!

Knowing it was served as the clock struck 12 midday we arrived at 1130am - enough time to secure a good seat with our family as they too were joining us (we were keen!).

In our life pre-bub we had traveled through Spain and eaten traditional paella - some of which I never really enjoyed (bland in taste with too much seafood for my liking).  After placing our orders at the counter steaming plates of paella were served to us at our table smack on 12pm.  Hubby and I shared a large serve ($11) which was more than sufficient for lunch however grandpa thoroughly enjoyed a large serve all to himself!  The paella was delicious!!  Utterly enjoyed by all at the table.  We finished our meal with a serve of churros and chocolate dipping sauce - YUM.

Oh and bub enjoyed his egg sandwich brought from home while he sat propped up in his pram (no highchair unfortunately).  After that however he did require a nappy change (way to much information I know) and to our surprise we did discover the parenting room outside of the Island Market complex which we had missed on our previous visit.  Very basic but it did the job.

Churros Cafe at Island Markets is certainly a great little find.
