 Mumma Review

Wow - what a great little find Churros Cafe at Island Markets was on Saturday morning!  Accompanied by hubby, bub and my sister-in-law I headed out to Moonah with the aim of eating churros and drinking coffee (a great way to start the day!).

Cheap and cheerful the Churros Cafe was just warming up as we arrived mid-morning.  A pair of Spanish dancers added a unique touch to the place (although they were pretty serious) and would certainly be interesting for kids to see.  The staff were friendly and efficient as we ordered our coffees, churros with chocolate dipping sauce and an ice-chocolate (for hubby of course).

There was plenty of room for prams but this time bub was happy on our knees.  Unfortunately there were no highchairs (seeming to be limited around Hobart the more places I start to frequent) and the cold concrete flooring was not ideal had bub of been restless and wanted to get down on the ground.  For toddlers and kids however the place would have been fine with enough space to potter around and a variety of seating options (low seats versus stools).

The churros were fresh and delicious - yum!  The coffee pretty good and it did seem to get better the more we drank it (don't ask me why?!).  They had a great selection of food to choose from, including traditional Paella, and judging from the steady stream of customers they received the place was pretty popular.  Overall Churros Cafe is a fun place to take your kids for an authentic Spanish experience.
