Baby and Child Friendly Cafe's Hobart...

Well on our quest to find great baby and child friendly café’s in Hobart we recently stumbled across Amalfi in Centrepoint!  It was a great find – see our review below
Jam Packed at the IXL on the Waterfront and Churros Café at Island Markets are also great spots if you are looking for a unique place to take the family.  For some mummy time out you simply can’t beat the gorgeous Jam Jar Lounge in Battery Point

Mumma review

After a morning dashing around town shopping I was in desperate need of a coffee and bite to eat to re-charge the batteries.  In a city full of cafes the size of a shoebox Amalfi is a really convenient and easy choice.  Located centrally on the lower ground floor of Centrepoint the cafe is accessed easily via a ramp.  There are two dining areas, for which wait staff will seat you and find you a spot with room to park the pram.

There are highchairs available, and as I was about to leave I did overhear another mums excitement at finding a cafe in central Hobart that actually had a highchair!  Being located right next to the baby care room is also a handy bonus with nappy change facilities, seats for feeding, and a few activities to keep toddlers entertained.

As for the cafe itself, there is a huge menu to satisfy the largest of hungers (even that of my friend the "lactating mother"!) and there is a kids menu to satisfy those little tummies.

All in all, a very handy spot to stop with the pram when you're in town with the little ones.
