Augusto Cafe Update

Bub and I enjoyed a nice morning catch up yesterday with a friend and her little girl at Augusto Cafe in Lenah Valley.  There was a really nice feel to the place with other mum's and bub's enjoying some quiet coffee time.

The babycino on offer was certainly a descent size accompanied by two marshmallow's (asked subtly by the waitress if they were allowed) and for the cost of $1 was thoroughly enjoyed by bub's friend.  There was also a small collection of toy cars available for kiddies which I missed on my previous visit and provided enough entertainment for us to enjoy our coffees.  The highchair that we used was also suitable for any sized toddler.  Two small red plastic chairs also proved popular for some other little patrons.

Augusto Cafe was certainly more kid friendly on this visit that on my previous one.

 Mumma Review

A lovely afternoon spent at Augusto Cafe with hubby, bub and two friends.  We sat on the two comfy leather couches at the front of the cafe - perfect for bub to sit and watch the cars out the window.  The latte was just what I needed and delivered the perfect pick-me-up (along with the delicious warm choc brownie and vanilla bean ice-cream).  Hubby certainly enjoyed his iced-chocolate (he does love a good iced-choc) while our friends thoroughly enjoyed their cakes and coffee's.

Service was friendly and welcoming.  There was a moderate amount of space to occupy a number of prams if Mum's group were to meet here.  The floor was polished concrete however which seemed rather cold and a little dirty - not so great if bubs are starting to move.   There was one uni-sex toilet at the rear of the cafe.

All in all Augusto Cafe was a popular choice this Saturday afternoon with the locals and their delicious coffee, cakes and friendly unassuming service made for an enjoyable time.
