Wow.......time has slipped by without us even realising that we have been blogging for 1 year! So Happy 1st Blogiversary to us!!
In the past year we have continued raising our two gorgeous boys while Kel has 'popped' out another little girl; I have been busy juggling a part-time career as a Nurse as well as buying our first home and partially renovating it; and we have both been attempting to be domestic goddesses while managing all that life throws your way when raising a young family.....but we have certainly managed to eat our fair share of cake and coffee!
We hope that in the past year we have been able to provide the Mums and Dads of Hobart and beyond some more information about great child and baby friendly cafes (as well as a few night time restaurant reviews) to make life just that little bit easier. We have 419 gorgeous followers as well as 23,000+ independent page views - a great achievement in our first year :)
There are so many terrific cafes around Hobart but some of our favourite places include Ginger Brown in South Hobart, Citrus Moon in Kingston, the Rivulet Cafe in South Hobart, Pop Cafe in the city, and the Pancake Train in Margate! Some out of town cafes that are great include Red Bridge Cafe and Providore in Campbell Town, the Cherry Shed in Latrobe and the stunning Red Velvet Lounge in Cygnet. All provide yummy food, great coffee and an atmosphere that is welcoming to little ones.
We have also recently teamed up with Eat Out with Kids - an informative space set up by a Queensland Mumma who aims to have a nationwide directory about great child and baby friendly places to eat (perfect for the next family road trip to the mainland!); and What's on for Little Ones TAS - another informative site with lots of information about activities for little ones under the age of 5. You will find links to both sites on the right hand side bar on the blog.
Lets hope the next year is full of even more delicious goodies and lots of coffee as we continue to sample all the child friendly places around town!

Congratulations on your first year of blogging, we also celebrated our first year back in July, and I am loving the support and friendship that has arisen from the blogging community and readers, and all the great ideas that come from that. I STILL haven't made it to Ginger Brown and the whole time we lived in Kingston, never made it to Citrus Moon, but Pop! Cafe, the Pancake Train, the play area at Rivulet Cafe and the awesome Red Velvet Lounge are all among our favourite places to visit with our little ones too :)
ReplyDeleteAnother favourite is Muffin Munchies, (in a little arcade off Collins Street) although its not a big cafe, the owners have two young children and are kid friendly. They have a high chair and colouring in items on hand :)
Hi Mel B - thanks for your lovely comment. I am a regular at Muffin Munchies however normally on a work day without my little one....delicious muffins indeed! Will have to check it out properly and do a review. You will have to get yourself to Ginger Brown, it is a great find that's for sure in South Hobart
