This weekend we are looking forward to taking our boys to the Hobart Christmas Pageant for the first time - their first glimpse of a real live Santa!
All this excitement is bound to leave the mumma's in need of a good coffee, but where to go...?
Our inner city recommendation Amalfi Cafe has good pram access, right next to the baby care facility, and this weekend will have a prime viewing of the big man himself, although it's bound to be pretty busy.
Dome Cafe, in Elizabeth Street Mall, right in the middle of the pageant circuit is always a popular spot with parents and kids.
If sitting down for a coffee in the midst of the pageant crowds all sounds a bit too much, maybe head for a take-away option. The Cupping Room (105 Murray Street) has heaps of room to park the pram while you wait for a take-away as well as Cultura Cafe in Liverpool Street (watch out for our full reviews - coming soon).
If all else fails, escape the Christmas carols, tinsel, tantrums and general manic-ness of the CBD and enjoy some yummy food and good coffee at one of the many other child and baby friendly cafes in Hobarts surrounds... I feel the stress levels receding already, ahhh
Love Mumma Kel and Mumma Al x
Thanks Mummas for the great free advise. Will try and get a coffee before the big man arrives.
